Your Circumstances Do Not Decide What Is Possible

Your circumstances do not decide what is possible.

After you begin remembering who you are, another kind of freedom begins to ask something of you.

You are no longer allowing old identities to define you.

You are no longer letting fear, expectation, or the opinions of others decide who you should become.

You are beginning to understand that your life can be different.

But then you look around.

You look at your circumstances.

You look at the money available.

The opportunities in front of you.

What happened before.

What other people believe is realistic.

What you currently know how to do.

And without realizing it, you begin building your vision from what already exists.

You ask yourself:

What is possible from here?

But perhaps that is not the question that will lead you into freedom.

Circumstances Can Tell You What Is

Your circumstances can show you what is currently visible.

They can reflect what has already happened.

They can reveal the results of previous decisions, beliefs, patterns, and conditions.

But they cannot tell you everything that is possible.

Your circumstances are evidence of where you have been.

They are not a complete description of where you can go.

They may describe the present moment, but they do not have the authority to define your future.

There is a difference between acknowledging what is and allowing what is to become the limit of what you believe.

You can see your circumstances clearly without surrendering your imagination to them.

You can be honest about where you are without deciding that where you are is all there is.

Imagination Was Never Meant to Be Confined

If you only allow yourself to imagine what your circumstances already support, you are not truly imagining.

You are extending the present.

You are rearranging what you already know.

You are choosing only from the options that have already been revealed to you.

But imagination gives you access to what has not yet appeared.

It allows you to see beyond the evidence.

Beyond the current amount of money.

Beyond the present opportunity.

Beyond your past experience.

Beyond what you currently understand about how something could happen.

This does not mean you have to deny your present life.

It means you do not have to make your present life the boundary of your inner world.

The visible world is not the beginning of everything.

There is always something unseen before it becomes visible.

A thought. An image. A desire. A decision.

A quiet inner knowing that says, There is more available to me than what I can currently see.

That is where a new possibility begins.

Let Yourself See Beyond the Evidence

There are things about my life today that I once had no physical evidence would become possible.

I could not always see the path.

I did not always know how one reality would lead to another.

There were no guarantees in front of me that I could point to and say, “This is how it will happen.”

But I could see the life within myself.

I could feel the possibility of something different.

So I kept returning to what I had imagined rather than allowing my circumstances to decide for me.

This did not mean I never noticed what was happening around me.

It did not mean I ignored practical realities or pretended that difficult moments were not difficult.

It meant I refused to give my circumstances the final word.

I understood that what I was seeing was not the whole story.

There was still more being formed within me.

More to become.

More to experience.

More to receive.

And sometimes, faith begins there—not with certainty about the path, but with a willingness to remain open to what you have already seen within yourself.

You Are Allowed to Desire More

You do not need permission from your current life to desire a different one.

You do not need everyone around you to understand your vision before you trust it.

You do not need to know how to become the person who lives that life before you begin seeing yourself as her.

Your imagination may introduce you to a reality before your circumstances have the language to explain it.

Let that be enough for now.

The desire came to you for a reason.

The image appeared within you before there was evidence for it because imagination is not dependent on visible proof.

You are not required to reduce your vision so that it makes sense to the version of you who has only known the past.

You are allowed to imagine from your wholeness.

From your freedom.

From the quiet understanding that your life is not limited to what has already been demonstrated.

Begin With a Different Question

Perhaps the question is not:

What is possible from where I am?

Perhaps it is:

What would I imagine if what I see right now had no authority over what I believe is possible?

Let yourself sit with that question.

Let your imagination move without immediately asking it to explain itself.

You may discover that the life you desire has been waiting within you—not for your circumstances to approve it, but for you to become willing to see it.

Your circumstances can tell you what is.

They cannot tell you what is possible.

Imagine beyond what you see.

Have faith in what you imagine.

Live free.
