Freedom to Live
All our lives, we’ve been taught what to think and how to think.
But have we ever stopped to question—is this really the way life was meant to be lived?
If we’ve only been repeating what we were taught, how can we ever know true freedom?
There comes a point when we must sit back, strip away the noise, and ask ourselves:
Am I living life on my terms—or under the weight of society’s expectations?
The truth is, society doesn’t know either. They were taught too.
Real freedom begins when we dare to be radical.
When we choose to experience life for ourselves.
When we dare to be renewed.
But What is Freedom?
We talk about freedom all the time—but do we really know what it means?
At its core, freedom is being free of restraints.
It’s the liberty to live without slavery, oppression, or imprisonment.
It’s the ability to choose, to move, to breathe without limits.
Freedom also means having access—the right to enjoy privileges, opportunities, and the fullness of life.
But here’s the question: with all these definitions, do you actually feel free?
Or are you still carrying invisible chains—expectations, pressures, fears—that keep you bound?
As human beings, we tend to complicate life until we become prisoners of the very world we were meant to live freely in.
What It Really Means to Be Renewed
So what would life be like if we actually lived the way we were meant to live?
Look at nature—it flows effortlessly.
Trees grow, rivers run, and flowers bloom—unless they are tampered with.
We are no different.
When we stop bending under the weight of other people’s expectations, we return to the same effortless rhythm.
We begin to flow. We become free.
To be renewed is to think for ourselves.
To live as uniquely as we were created.
That is true freedom.
